Getting Started
What is sacked.gg?
sacked.gg is a free daily NFL trivia site. A fresh slate of daily games goes live every day at midnight, each testing a different area of football knowledge — from career stats and draft history to awards and player connections.
Is sacked.gg free?
Yes, completely free. All the daily games are available to everyone with no paywalls, no ads interrupting gameplay, and no premium tiers. Creating an account is also free and gives you stat tracking and streaks.
Do I need to create an account to play?
No. You can play every game without an account. However, creating a free account lets you track your stats, maintain streaks across devices, and compete on the leaderboards.
What devices can I play on?
sacked.gg works on any device with a web browser — phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. No app download required. Just open sacked.gg and start playing.
The Games
How many games are there?
Ten and counting: Top 10 Quiz, NFL Bingo, Higher or Lower, Who Am I?, Connections, 2 Truths 1 Lie, Career Path, Survival, Scouting Report, and Gridiron Grid — plus Possession, the replayable head-to-head board game. Each one tests a different type of football knowledge, from stat recall to player identification to fact-checking.
What is a unicorn in Gridiron Grid?
Gridiron Grid scores you on how RARE your picks are, not just whether they're right. Every cell shows the percentage of today's players who named the same guy — the lower, the better. A pick nobody else made is a unicorn, and the rarest grid of the day tops the leaderboard. So the obvious answer is the safe answer, and the deep cut is the flex.
Why don't I get a rarity score when I'm signed out?
Rarity scores and unicorns need an account. Your picks still count either way — they feed the percentages everyone else sees — but the score itself is only shown to signed-in players, so the leaderboard can't be gamed by someone farming rare picks anonymously.
When do the games reset?
All the daily games reset at midnight in your local timezone. Everyone around the world gets the same puzzles on the same day, so you can compare scores with friends without worrying about spoilers from different time zones.
Can I play more than once per day?
Most games can only be played once per day — that's what makes the daily format exciting. Every answer counts because you can't retry. Survival is the exception: it's the same gauntlet all day, and you can rerun it as often as you like — only your best run counts. Possession is fully replayable too. And you can always play past games from previous days.
Can I play past games I missed?
Yes. You can access previous days' puzzles through the calendar icon on any game page. Past games don't count toward your streak or leaderboard stats, but they're great for practice.
Is there a bonus for a perfect Bingo board?
Yes. Clearing all 16 tiles is a blackout, and it pays a +80 point bonus on top of your normal score. A line still wins the game — the blackout is the flex.
How is the difficulty determined?
Each game is designed to be accessible to casual fans while rewarding deep knowledge. For example, Top 10 Quiz might feature well-known categories like career passing yards alongside trickier ones like career interceptions. The daily mix aims for a balance that keeps every skill level engaged.
Where do the stats and facts come from?
Every stat, fact, and claim in our games is verified against official sources like Pro Football Reference. We never use unverified data — accuracy is our top priority.
Accounts & Stats
What stats are tracked?
Your dashboard tracks win rate, average score, current streak, and best streak for every daily game. You can see your overall performance and drill down into individual game stats.
Do my stats sync across devices?
Yes. Once you're logged in, your stats sync automatically. Play on your phone during your commute and check your stats on your laptop later — everything stays in sync.
I played before creating an account. Can I recover those stats?
Unfortunately, games played before creating an account can't be retroactively added to your stats. Your tracking starts from the first game you play while logged in.
How do I reset my password?
Go to the login page and click "Forgot password." You'll receive an email with a link to reset it. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.
Streaks
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you've played. Play at least one game each day to keep it alive. Miss a day and your current streak resets to zero — but your best streak is always saved.
Do I need to play every game to maintain my streak?
No, playing at least one game in a day is enough to keep your overall streak going. Each individual game also has its own streak counter.
What time zone are streaks based on?
Streaks use your local timezone. Games reset at midnight your time, so you have a full 24-hour window each day.
Technical
The site isn't loading properly. What should I do?
Try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page. If the issue persists, try a different browser or device. You can also post in our community at reddit.com/r/sackedgg and we'll help troubleshoot.
My game progress disappeared. What happened?
Game progress is saved in your browser's local storage. If you cleared your browser data, switched browsers, or used incognito mode, your in-progress game data may have been lost. Creating an account ensures your completed game results are always saved.
Can I suggest a new game or feature?
Absolutely! We love hearing from players. Share your ideas in our community at reddit.com/r/sackedgg — we read everything and have implemented player suggestions before.
